An Original All-American Form Of Acupuncture

Traditional Chinese Medicine

For general wellness, people should treat their body much better than their car or home.  Unfortunately, many people wait until it is too late for general maintenance.  If you only receive medical care in times of crisis, it is like waiting until you are dying of thirst before you look for water.

Traditional Chinese Medicine has been around since the dawn of civilization, at least 5,000 years.  The Taoists who lived according to nature observed how our bodies work and found natural ways to preserve and restore life processes.  Dr. Cormier studied for four years in Los Angeles and took four trips to China to better understand this Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Acupuncture, Herbal medicine and Massage are the main tools in Chinese Medicine.  By using these tools, the Chinese have a wonderful record of health for thousands of years.  It is time that Americans take advantage of this knowledge.  Billions of dollars are spent every year in America on alternative medicine, but only 1% of this goes toward Acupuncture.  How sad that such a valuable method is being neglected.  Acupuncture is effective for almost any problem, from the psychological to physical and even spiritual.

Chinese herbal formulas are very powerful and all natural.  Most patients who come to the Cormier Health Center are prescribed a formula appropriate to them.  These herbs often allow people to avoid stronger medications which cause side effects.  The beautiful thing about herbs is that they work in a subtle way and do not cause side effects.

Laser therapy is great for children and anyone too afraid of Acupuncture needles.  It is also great to combine with the acupuncture treatment.  The laser works by adding energy to cells in the form of photons.  When the cells have more energy, the entire body can work more effectively.  The laser can be used for virtually any problem, but is contraindicated for tumors, pregnant women, and those on immunosuppressive medications.
